Lorric Ziegler studied mathematics and theoretical physics at the University of Geneva. He wrote his master thesis on the effect of a fifth dimension on the radiative power of the vacuum. This was somehow very theoretical. So he moved on to writing a PhD thesis in computational neuroscience at the EPFL. Not willing to leave academia (yet) I started last year a joint postdoc between UNIGE and the ZZ Vermögensberatung AG in Vitznau (canton Lucerne) on the individual differences in financial decisions. At UNIGE he is in the Neuroscience in Finance and Economics lab of professor Kerstin Preuschoff.
